Jan Beránek was a Czech glass artist and designer associated with the Škrdlovice glassworks, a renowned Bohemian glass manufacturer. He was part of the Beránek family, which played a crucial role in the factory's history. Beránek took on a leadership role at Škrdlovice after his father, Emanuel, retired in 1959. Under his guidance, the factory continued producing distinctive glass designs, often featuring organic forms, bold colours, and experimental techniques. The company collaborated with prominent Czech glass designers, contributing to the country's strong tradition of artistic glassmaking.
